I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. The weather finally cleared up here, so we were able to get outside. I took Alex to the park yesterday and he had the best 40 minutes just running from one thing to the next the whole time.

Our weekend is pretty nice so far. Went to a college grad party at a cousin's house yesterday. Today will probably just be cleaning. It's supposed to hit 90° today...and my A/C isn't working...a couple of wires are disconnected, and DH doesn't know how to hook them back on.

I'm soo excited, we got tickets to see the Wiggles in Philly 8/20! Peter's gonna have soo much fun!

I got burned on Fri. I was helping out at our schools golf outing, helping raise money for scholorships. Yesterday I pretty much took it easy. It got up to 87 yesterday and is suppose to be closer to 90 today. To bad I have to be upstairs working on homework. (It gets really hot up here) Well I have two test to study for and homework to do for tommorrow, so I will talk at ya all later.

Karen, I was gonna ask you if you were going, but by the time dh said which day, it was 9:55 and tickets were about to go on sale! I wish I had picked Sunday, because we are planning to make a weekend of it and do Sesame Place and a day in Philly too! DH said we'll take Friday off and do Sesame Place Friday, concert and a little philly Saturday and back to SP on Sunday. I'm soo excited, it's like going to see a Journey concert!! Man, how far I've come...

Lisa, OUCH! Did you soak yourself in vinegar? It does wonders! Soak some paper towels in vinegar and spread them out on your arms, legs, back, wherever you're burned. It takes the heat out. And of course lots of aloe! Do you have A/C?

DH got the A/C hooked back up by early afternoon yesterday and we cranked it up! It was soo hot, the sweat was just dripping off us. The house is a cape cod, so the bedroom and kitchen are basically in the attic.

I'm going to try and log everything I eat today. I've got to get serious. I don't know why I can't stick to anything.

The sunburn on my face and arms are almost all gone. Those body parts are used to getting burned. It is my chest area that is really hurting. I have put aloe but that seams to make it hurt worse. I am just using air conditioning and trying not to let anything touch it. My arms and face are already itching (and tan).

I have not seen the Wiggles, is that something new?

Well back to work.

I couldn't reach it to put on sunblock! Oh well, I'm going to slather it on Alex so he doesn't burn. Oh, and the Wiggles are awesome! Alex is constantly singing their songs. The concerts are a lot of fun. A LOT of toddlers dancing around like mad.

Lauren: I signed up for the "club" thingee with ticketmaster so I actually got to buy my tickets on Friday. We are on the floor section 211 with VIP seats. I hope that means hot potato seats!

OK, gotta go get that slip 'n slide and cool Spiderman water sprinkler up. See y'all after the fun!

Hmmm. I think I've been swindled. When I was purchasing the tickets it said floor VIP so I thought we had great seats, hot potato seats in fact. Now looking at the chart, we aren't on the floor and it says nothing about VIP seats! Oh well. For $131 I think there should be at least one coloring book per block of tickets sold!

I just had my third child, a beautiful boy, a month ago, and I have an almost 4 year old daughter and a 2.5 year old son. Hello and welcome Lori! My name is Lisa. I am 32 and living at home with my parents, while finishing up college. I am getting a duel degree in Business Management and Marketing. Hopefully I will finish at the end of next spring. Graduation is May 20th, 2006. (Less than a year, not that I am counting.)

That is so funny about the Wiggles being huge in the US, we kind of just think of them in the context of the daggy old ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission - non-commercial station). I'm so glad you enjoy them! They are in my future as Lara doesn't watch TV yet.
We had a big week - a friend came over on Sat night and COOKED US DINNER b/c she felt like cooking, it was sensational, 4 courses, wine, nibblies, mmmmmmmmmmm ate ourselves to a standstill of course, oh dear Then on Sunday I had an allergic reaction (to ?) and felt really sick so didn't argue when DH wanted chinese food...sigh... I just inhale that stuff.....
Oh well, new week, move on, eh? DH started his new job yesterday and absolutely loved it I am so happy for him (and our bank balance tee hee)
I realised how much my after-dinnerglass of wine was habit rather than desire when I didn't have one yesterday. This is good. I can change my habits, yay!
I am vaguely thinking of training for a half marathon in October, waddya reckon?
