  • And I can't wait!! I'll be back at 8:00 with my opinion and/or prediction.

    GO, BO!!!!!
  • Oh dear!!!

    Country --
Carrie: I thought her vocals were muddy. I couldn't understand a lot of it even though I know the song.
Bo: Um, he's not a country guy, is he?
Vonzell: Why was she crying? It wasn't good.
    Anthony: Sorry, but no.

Country wasn't that great tonight, huh? I thought everybody could have made much better song choices, but oh well.

    Gamble & Huff --
Carrie: Sorry, but I didn't like it. But she's so pretty!!!! (And Simon blamed it all on the band??)
Bo: He's my man, and he nailed it. Totally.
Vonzell: MUCH better!! She was great!
Anthony: Same song as Carrie, but awesome!!!

So my predictions, and this might change if I think about it overnight:

    Bo
    Anthony
    Carrie
    Vonzell

I hate that Vonzell was crying after the first song. Carrie had a much worse night overall IMO, but her season average is much better than Vonzell's.

    Guess we'll see, huh?
  • And if Bo had done "Me and Mrs. Jones", the whole nation would have melted in one messy pile of goo. I was SOOOOOOOOO hoping ...
  • I still think Bo is the man. I don't know what was up with Vonzell but to me I thought it was a way to get sympathy votes?????? I don't know but that was my opinion. I think Anthony done pretty good also.
  • i voted for bo--and only bo this week. he knocked my socks off.
  • I just got back from my American Idol party. I loved Anthony tonight and I hope he stays. The guys liked Bo. We'll see!
  • Vonzell was crying because her father was there. We had a story in the paper today about it. If you heard what she said on her 2nd song, her mom and dad have been working 2 and 3 jobs to support her singing career. I was very disappointed in her performance last night though. I really think Bo nailed it for the night. I am still hoping that Anthony goes home. I couldn't get through to vote for Vonzell, even though I kept trying. I thought Carrie sang horribly also. Anthony did a great job on his last song. We'll just have to see tonight!
  • I know in my heart that Anthony is not the Idol but I don't like Carrie that much either. In my humble opinion, Vonzell does not deserve to stay based on last night's performance. I do like her alot though.
  • This morning Celena Rae said that Vonzell was crying because of an issue with the show -- not another contestant, but a producer or choreography or song selection issue. Either way, having her dad there wouldn't have made her "have a bad day" like she said. I think she'll go home tonight.

Part of me thinks that Bo might be the other one in the bottom two tonight, along with Vonzell.
  • I thought Bo did an excellent job again. The first song wasn't an exciting song but he did sing it good. Loved the last song. He was the only one I voted for last night.

I'm thinking Carrie and Vonzell will be the bottom two tonight.
  • I didn't think last night was that great for anyone except Bo. I think Bo will probably win, even though I really do like Carrie. I didn't think that she did that great last night, but I don't think that she's in trouble. With apologies to Vickie, I think Anthony may go home. Well, at least that's who I would choose. I tried to vote for a long time but the line was always busy. Here's my personal order:

    Bo
    Carrie
    Vonzell
    Anthony

    But we'll see tonight!
  • Melissa, I tried to vote too -- for about 45 minutes and finally gave up.

    I'm ready and waiting!
  • Melissa, you are too sweet! I can't explain what I like about Anthony. I guess I'm just a sucker for a beautiful ballad with a lot of range.
  • Vickie, I don't know what it is that I don't like about him. I don't think he has a very good lower range. I think he would be great on stage doing musicals/Broadway kind of thing. In any case, I think that he'll be successful w/ music. I think all four of them will.
  • I have a slight hearing loss and don't hear the lower range very well. Maybe that's the answer! I agree that he would be great on Broadway. I'd buy a ticket in a minute. But, I'd also buy a CD too. I find that I'm always rooting for the underdog, you know, the ones that try real hard and are sweet, but not necessarily the best. Oh well. Not the worst character flaw to have, huh?!
