A birthday wish came true!!

  • Every year I make the same wish on my birthday as I blow out the candles.. to be thin (Okay, so I told you). This year I can blow out the candles with a new wish. My birthday is tomorrow and next week I get my key to lifetime. What a difference a year makes.

Ladies- Stay strong and you will succeed. It took over a year and a half to lose this weight. Join me next year with the same wish come true.

    - You're all worth it, just do it.
  • FRAN - I do not know if to congratulate you first on your goal or your birthday, but wow, you did great. Thanks for the inspiration, it is really recharging to me at least to hear people who have been trying and who are succeeding and who have succeeded.

    Thank you.

  • Happy belated Birthday!

I think you have given yourself the best present ever. For years and years I tried to lose weight for other people and only when I decided to do it for me did it finally work. I have been to WW countless times, each time losing some weight but never getting to goal. What I did learn was how to eat. I have kept off 32 pounds and am now back to WW (my first week back) to continue my journey for ME to lose the rest of my weight (approximately 25 more pounds). I want to stick it out this time and I feel that I will because it is something I am doing for me.

Way to go, your story is an inspiration to all of us.

    Blessings to you!
  • Way To Go
    Congratulations and Belated Happy Birthday!!!

Just a nosy question - how much did you lose and how long did it take??
  • Hi all,
Just to let you know if you did not read my other post, I have made lifetime losing altogether 43 pounds!! I'd like to lose maybe 5 more but when that happens..it happens. Right now I have been toning my body with an intense exercise program so I know the scale may go up but that is okay. I can deal with it. Slowly but, surely, I will get there. I think as you get toward goal you tend to refocus your goals. Instead of looking at the scale to monitor my success, i use my clothes now. Hopefully soon, a size 6 will be coming my way
    Take care,
    Frsn
  • Fran,
