LAWL Advice

  • Hey Everyone,
I'm just beginning the LAWL diet plan and I'm currently doing the 2 day Take Off. I was wondering if this helped speed up anyone's weight loss or if they lost any weight on these days. I'm curious because it seems wierd to me that you can have all this steak, chicken, seafood, and butter along with the Take Off juice. Any answers/comments would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

  • It is a modified juice fast. You are only eating carb free foods-save for the juice fasting part. It will show a scale loss, but it is more for a "quick scale result" i.e. you are not losing fat.
  • Marial2 - come and join us over at LAWL Friends Jan 2005. When I did the 2 day take off I lost 8 lbs - good luck to you. Sy
  • BTW-there are a few different Take Off plans-they have a few small differences in the menus.
  • Frankly I think the Take Off is more about seeing a loss on the scale and staying motivated to continue on the plan, than because it has any long-term weight loss benefits. But that said, the fact is, it IS motivating to see a 5-8 pound loss your first week! As long as you realize it's water weight and not fat, and that not every week to follow will be that "good"...!

  • Hello Everyone...I am new to LAWL (about a week in.) I joined the plan on a whim and am beginning to feel a bit nervous. The plan itself seems pretty easy...I haven't struggled so far. The reason I am feeling nervous is that I feel like all they see is $$$ when I walk through the door. I really want this plan to work for me, so I could really use some motivation from people who have no financial gain from the company and who have done well with the plan. Any words of encouragement are welcome. Thanks so much! Brooks
