Let's do menus again - Wednesday 12/1

  • I always liked seeing what everybody was eating! It gives me ideas when I'm stuck for something different.

    B: too rushed this morning, so I had a real coke (3 pts) -- bad girl!
    L: baked potato with FF cheese and FF sour cream, 1 cup tomato soup
    D: big salad with FF 1000 island, 95/5% ground beef patty with ketchup, and two cups of milk
    S: boiled egg
  • I'm with you Kathy, I was wondering what happened to the menus this morning! Not only does it give me ideas in a rut, but it also helps keep me accoutable and on program.

    B: CORE corn muffin, skim milk and banana
    L: Tomato soup and corn muffin
    S: Apple & maybe hot chicken broth (great filler, especially on a cold day)
    D: Stacked "taco" salad (FF refried beans, lettuce, 1/4 avocado, salsa, extra lean beef patty, 2% cheese and FF sour cream) - 1 pt. for cheese; sauteed green beans w/EVOO
    S: Crustless pumpkin pie w/FF whipped topping
  • Oh and milk with my pie.
  • I love the menus too! Let's keep it up.

    Okay...on that note today won't be a great menu for me. I did flex due to being out of town for a week and basically I didn't count points at all. LOL. Up 2 pounds AND starving on Core this week. I am eating more than I was in previous weeks but that is ok.

    B: two egg omelet with spinach/mushrooms/onions
    L: leftover shrimp creole, 1/2 cup brown rice, salad with 1 tsp oil
    S: sf/ff pudding, oatmeal with 1/2 cup skim
    D: blackened talapia (use other 1 tsp oil), sauteed zucchini, salad with ff
    S: if hungry...grapes

    What do you think? Sounds like a lot huh?
  • Here's mine.

    B: farina with skim milk and bananas
    L: oil-free three bean salad (look under CORE recipes) and Thanksgiving turkey dipped in cranberry sauce (homemade with Splenda), skim milk
    S: Kashi pilaf & herbed pepper steak, skim milk, ketchup
    Snack: SF FF vanilla pudding
