I'm looking for some one on one support. I'm 27, married for 7 years. I have 4 children ages 6,5,almost 2 and 5 months. I've had a horrible year and keep making excuses for why I can't get with the program and lose weight, I've finally decided I have to do this for myself and my children. I can't wait for life to calm down because it may never happen. I homeschool, try to cook nutritious and cheap meals, and am active in our church. If anyone is interested in joining me I'd like to start some challenges to make this fun and productive.
Jenni
Welcome, Jenni! I just wanted to pop in here and say hello to a fellow homeschooler. I just started the same thing this past year with my 11 year old. Homeschooling is more of a challenge than weight loss is! I know it is hard to find the motivation to get started, though. Aim for short goals. Do you plan your lessons ahead of time? If so, you should try meal planning when you do lesson planning. The best I have ever done at dieting was when I planned ahead. The scale rarely moves if I am doing it by the seat of my pants.
Good luck, and I'm sure you'll find a buddy that is perfect for you.
