Ok, so this morning I was getting dressed and I've noticed something I've seen many times, dark red stretch marks on my shoulders. I have stretch marks all over because of my weight but I haven't had new stretch marks in years or at least until I started lifting heavy. So somedays after an arm/shoulder workout, I see dark red stretch marks on my shoulders. Is there anything I can do about them? I know there are fading creams and such, I wasn't sure if they really worked or if they were really safe?
Anyone else have this problem?

Incidentally, what kind of exercises are you doing for arms and shoulders? I've often gotten red marks on my shoulders whenever I've used a machine that requires shoulder pads (hack squat, standing calf press) but they go away after a few days.
I used to get all sorts of red streaks all over my shoulders from hack squats and the standing calf raise machine. They'd last 3 - 4 days and then fade. I don't get them at all any more, though -- perhaps my shoulders have petrified and turned to rock or something?
