A Brand New Week: Monday

  • Hi Ladies:

    I hope everyone had a nice weekend and that you work up this morning feeling like you have a brand new start. Don't you just love the fact that you have a clean slate for the whole week? Hey, there has to be some reason to love Monday's right?!

    I want to be really honest with you all. I've been staying on plan, but I've also been "cheating" in the way that I haven't made most healthful choices and you know that I don't feel as good as I do when I eat more for health. I've been eating for emotions. I've not overate, but I've chosen french fries instead of a plain baked potato, I could have had a salad, but I didn't and ate an appetizer instead..that sort of thing and I've become a little relaxed with the fact that I've lost some weight. Have you even had that happen? It's like everyone notices now and so you don't work as hard at it? Well, I need to be careful or those scales will go creeping up again!

    So my goal for today is to make healthy choices. Things that will fill me up, things that will make my skin look good, give me energy etc.

    Time for me to get to work.

    Yes I know exactly what you mean. I tend to do the same thing after losing weight on an ongoing bases. I don't know why we do that. The important thing is that you realized it and you are doing something about it. This way you won't slip backwards. Great job on realizing the problem and doing something about it. Keep up the great work. Are you ready for your test yet?

    As for me I worked out this morning. My goal for the week is to keep my house up so I don't have to spend the weekends cleaning. I did that most of the weekend and I want time for the kids.
