  • Hi

I am new to this forum and to this diet programme... and very nervous...

Are there any success or failure stories in the UK? I would love to hear from you.

  • Sorry don't know anyone on that plan is it good?
  • The reviews are good about the progamme, but aren't they all?

I heard about the programme in the a national newspaper where the lady lost something like 6 stone in 6 months... eating realy food, which prompted me to find out more about the programme.

    The basic info is that:

    - you get a "personalised" programme based on blood test
    - you enter a contract (£390) for however long it takes you to get to goal weight (the cost was a factor, but worked out to be the same as WW or SW for a year)
    - after you quick loss programme you then get a maintainance programme
    - you drink at least 2lr of water a day
    - you have to have your meals 5 hours apart
    - all consultations are 1 on 1 which you can access whenever you want

The programme seems to be big in Aus, NZ, South Africa and Canada ~ but there is not a lot on www about it - other than their own sites. Just really wanted to hear some 'real' stories from 'real' people in the UK.

I have a lot to lose (about 9 stone) and wanted to do it quickly and safely as I want to get married and start a family. But I gues with everything - it takes determination!

  • Sounds like the one Pippie (haven't heard from her in ages boo) was going to join that was v expensive. I have a lot of lose too (was 10 st now 7 st that's too lose not my weight ) Don't think I could cope with meals 5 hours apart. I am very much a have my tea at 5 then a snack at 7.30 person. Good luck if you do it and tell us all about it (we're nosey)
  • 5 hours apart??? Surely you'd be starving by your next meal!! I'd die of hunger!

I guess each to their own!
  • Thanks... If I do go for the programme I will let you know.

But will keep checking 3FC for all the good success stories, as they keep me motivated.

  • Top tips from the link

    4. If you have to buy sweets or crisps for other members of your family, get your husband to hide them so only he and the kids know where they are.

Hmm if I knew they were about hidden I couldn't rest.
  • We used to fill an advent calendar up every year with a huge tin of roses, then get Dad to hide the rest.

They were always in the garage!! We used to beg him to go and get them!!!
  • Crimbo confessions
My Mam used to buy a huge box of crisps and I used to sneak packets out of it I was very good at it
  • hi i've started with sureslim their claims of feeling really great are unfounded for me. i have lost weight but i feel tired and hungry most of the time. i would love to hear from some actual people who have felt better on this v limited diet.
  • I did try that diet (there are clinics in Canada, as well). I will be honest where I found I had a very tough time with it. Since I had a lot of weight to lose, the fact that there was very little variation to the diet really took a toll after while. I was tired a lot of the time, and with so little food choices I just got fed up with the whole thing. That being said, that was my personal experience with it. There are definately success stories as well. I have always said that ALL plans work, you just need to find the one that works for you.
  • Hello,

I'm Chantel from Australia. I just signed up for the Sureslim program after my sister-in-law's brother had great success on it (I've seen the results with my own eyes!). I must admit I was pretty skeptical, but after working out the cost to be very close to other programs I was looking into, I thought I'd give it a go. It won't hurt to go into it with a positive attitude and hopefully as Carol said above.

This is the plan that will work for me!

I hope the two posts above are no indication of what's going to happen, but I will keep my fingers and toes crossed and give it a go. If there is anyone else out here on 3FC looking into Sureslim, please let me know, I'd love to share the journey!

    Chantel.
  • I'm on day 3 with Sureslim, and I certainly don't feel hungry at the moment - and I am about to go and prepare my lunch as it is 4 hours and 55 mins since breakfast.
