A bi's workout did it this time, but something else (can't remember what) provoked it last time.
It is EXTREMELY painful. As in, can't straighten my arm at all, I keep it completely bent as if it were in a sling. Obviously, I won't be working out tomorrow and I'm pissed about it. I thought about just cardio, but really, if I had to reach out to balance myself I'd probably scream in pain. lol
It's also very sore just to touch, as DH hubby just found out when I yelled when he hugged me.
Anyone done this? Last time it took a week or so to heal if I remember right. Like I need a setback at this point! Grr

(Not a medical professional; take with a grain of salt.) Sounds like tendonitis -- the area you are describing is where the biceps insert into a tendon that connects to the bone. Ice, NSAIDs (advil, aleve, etc.) and don't move it. An actual sling wouldn't be a terrible idea; it would help to remember not to move it.
