I was shocked to lose 2 lbs. this week. I had been happy with my 1+ loss after the first week, but to lose 2 lbs. the second week, well, I'm blown away. The strange thing is that my gym is closed so I didn't exercise as heavily as I usually do, and I felt like I ate more. Makes me wonder if I'm eating enough when I am working out a lot(although I did exercise each day). Our bodies can be very mysterious. . .
I've been eating salads for lunch...I add kidney beans, grilled chicken strips and a diced boiled egg. I also keep microwave popcorn on standbye so I have something for the munchies. I have also sauteed (sp?) vegies (mushrooms, broccoli, green onions) in PAM (could use some olive oil as well) and put that on a baked potato w/butter spray for my evening meal. Very filling. Tonight, I made a Chili with CORE ingredients, poured that on a baked potato and added fat free cheese. It really fills you up and the family liked it as well. I am on my second week of CORE and lost 3.6 lbs. my first. It seems so much easier than the flex points for me.
