Slimming world Healthy Extras

  • I've got an ancient Slimming World book which states that I am allowed the following healthy extras:

    1 from list A
    2 from list B

    Now, a birdie has told me that you can have 2 from List A and 2 from List B. Is this right?
  • Yep chick - they recently decided that you can either have 1 or 2 A sections a day now - it's up to you.

    It's to do with research into how calcium aids weight loss or something. It's great as you can have your milk and cheese

    Should there be a certain time of day that I try not to eat after?
  • Nope - SW says you can eat when you like! None of this "can't eat before bed" nonsense!

    I know why people think that you shouldn't eat before bed - ie as you're not going to be active - but what matters is that you dont eat more energy than you burn off in a 24 hour period for example.
    If you eat and your body doesn't need the energy at that moment it is stored as gylcogen - fat - until your body needs energy again and it breaks down the glycogen to use.
