XRay... first of all, as others have mentioned, the first few days are mainly water weight. Stick with this until the end of the two weeks (and I mean the FULL end -- 14 full, cheat-free days!) and then weigh yourself. You really shouldn't weigh yourself any more than once a week because there can be major fluxuation and that can be hugely discouraging to see.
Now, it's totally normal to stall out on Ph1. I found that I had stalled (if you can call a stoppage in weight loss in the period of two weeks a "stall"), then the first week on Ph2? I lost 3 pounds! So, don't dispair. Everyone loses differently, and maybe you need the slow addition of carbs for your body to respond. (In the first week, I ONLY added one carb a day.)
Be patient! You're totally right, it took 25 years for that weight to go on... it's going to take more than just two weeks for it to come off. Also, you should think about adding some moderate exercise 4-5 days a week, and drink TONS AND TONS of water. Both of those things will speed up the process.
