Cobalt, please do go see your doctor right away and talk with him. This diet might be great for you, but you really should not change your eating plan without your doctor's advice. It's just too risky.
Just for anyone else who is reading this...if you cheat on Phase 1, you will not see the results you should be seeing, and you jeapordize your work. So, do Phase 1 with
no cheats. Yes, this is hard, but it is so worth it! (I lost 26 pounds in Phase 1...trust me!)
For those who are
not diabetic--feeling awful for the first 3-5 days of Phase 1 is normal and is your body detoxing from sugar. Don't give in to your body's demands for carbs/sugar and you will feel amazing after that time!
