Thanks from a Newbie!

  • Hi, everyone!

    I'm three weeks into South Beach and I have to tell ya, this message board is a motivation saver!!! I've lost 13.5lbs so far and I'm swimming in my clothes! I'm 4lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. It feels wonderful, but I'm afraid to fall off the wagon or get burnt out. I really want this to be successful! The only other diet I've tried is Atkins...for about a week a few years ago. I thought if I saw one more egg after that week, I'd lose my mind. So far, SBD has been much easier, but today I've been tired and although I've been good, I was feeling weak.

    And then I found these postings and I feel inspired! So, thank you very much for being here!!!

    Some days it's harder than other, huh. Did you check the recipe forum out? I didn't know about the PB cup recipe until I was about at your point, and it really helped me out of a rut!

    I'm sure you'll find these boards as warm and wonderful as I have. There are so many great people here, so pull up a lounge chair and join us on the beach!
