points help

  • Could someone be so kind to calculate this dish's points for me??

    4 eggplants fried in olive oil
    about 200 gr. regular yellow semi-hard cheese
    1 tbsp breadcrumbs

    All this in a dish baked in the oven. I think it makes about 5-6 servings, could someone calculate how many points for the whole dish? Thanks!
  • 1 how big are the eggplants and 2 how much oil did you use?
  • The eggpalnts were medium sized. I used just enough oil to fry them, and then I let them "let out" the excess oil. I calculated the dish to be 50 points. Do you think I'm under-calculating it?
  • 'just enough to fry' isnt specific enough...need to know how much you used and how much was left over to really figure it out.
  • Well, there's no possible way for me to know and remember now how much oil was used to fry the eggplants and how much I threw out. Anyway, I hope 50 points isn't an un-realistic calculation. Thanks for trying though.
  • What I mean is it proably way over the points. I think you are overestimated. With W/W as in any weight loss program measuring is essential to the success. Did you start with a whole 16 ounces of oil? I don't mean to be difficult but you need to do these things to get the points.

    What do you mean? Do you think that the dish is over 50 points or under? I just put much oil in a big frying pan and I fried them. I put them in kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil. After baking the dish in the oven, I threw out a lot of oil which came out in the baking dish. I don't mind if the calculation is not exact, I just hope that it's not way over 50 points.
