Good Friday 4/12

  • Good morning,

    I am here bright and early today. I have to get to work early because I am taking my daughter to chuck e cheese today for a birthday party. My cousins little boy turns 4 today.

    I am not to excited to be going myself because they don't have any healthy food choices for lunch. So I will just have 2 slices of pizza for 7-8 pts depending on which kind they get. Just a ham and cheese sandwich is 18 pts total. I am so glad I checked because I would have gotten that and then be bummed when I got home.

    So wish me luck today. I really want to stay on track today.

    I am ready for another week. Didn't do good yesterday went over pt and had ice cream but I am ready for another week. I have a $1.00 bet going with 2 other people to see who can lose the most weight this week. So that should help.

    Thought I better get here, since the last time I was here
    was Tuesday. Not much going on, except I could be doing better on the weight thing. Haven't been keepin my daily food, or drinking the water. Around Wednesday, I started getting sinus, or a cold or both.
    Not sure where it is going. The doctor put me off work until middle of may, when I go see him again. Yesterday I didn't feel like eating, cuz of my throat, till I bought chinese for dinner. My husband thought I ate a lot. ( more than usual) Other things going on, too. I'm sure I will get together, one day at a time. I get so lifted up and encouraged when I come in here. You guys are great.

    Sherri, I know we were working on something, and I can't remember what it is. Please refresh my memory on the challenge we were doing.
    Keep up the good work, it will pay off in more ways than one.
  • Hi Ladies! Well I indeed gained last night! It was 1 1/2 pounds that I lost last week. Well I will just try harder this week.

    Sherri ~ I am soooooo sorry no one showed up for open house. I know you must be upset because you worked so hard on it. But hey at least you benefited from it! That is good I know you help me so much.... Looks like I owe you a present..... Congrats on a great loss you have done so great!

    Penny don't worry you will lose that this week. Just stay on track and exercise.

    I did terrible today. I couldn't stay on track going to chucky cheese. But tomorrow is another day and starting tomorrow I am at my points all week and I am eating low in carbs also. Talking to gay (from the fitness center) last night I have a plan for my exercise this week. I am going to do 3 days of aerobics and 2 days of strength training. I didn't work out today but I have the rest of the week. I am back on track tomorrow because I want to win that bet and make it to my 10 lb goal.

    Take it one day at a time. Sometimes when we get off track like I was then it is best to take it one day at a time. That is how I made it through this past week and that is how I intend to make it to my goal. Good luck with everything that is going on now. Sounds like it is a lot. Do remember to make time for you. That is very important.
