Morning girls! Welcome back MsCat!

Well, my personal cover would have Jack on the front, but celebrity wise I guess I would pick Jason Isaacs. He has these startling blue eyes, is English and not some 20 year old. I think he is like 40. WHO IS HE? He played Major Tavington in the Patriot and Lucious Malfoy in the Potter movies and he has been in a bazillion others. Though in both the movies above he had very long hair, in real life does not. He also has dimples, which will always get me!

Girls, say a little prayer for me. I have been a bad girl yesterday and will really try to keep it under control today. I got an authorization from my insurer for a hospital inpatient stay and I have stressed out since the mail came that my doctor submitted it after seeing my MRI on my knee (I have a regular dr appt tomorrow morning and won't find out until then.) Jack keeps telling me the insurance has already screwed up 2 autorizations for my arm so not to get too freaked out but off I go every moment I am not occupied with something else. I took 2 sleeping pills last night so I wouldn't sit and fret over it. Jack took me out to lunch so I did bad there and then I had takeout for dinner because Jack didn't want any dinner. I got 2 pts yesterday though for water and a pool workout.

Poll - see that little guy in my icon? I just can't seem to think of anybody better. He's the lead singer of my favorite band. I've met him and he seems very nice and sweet, he's clean cut (most of the time ) and has some of the most beautiful brown eyes I have every had the pleasure of staring into.

Not much going on here. I'm just tired. Have been the last couple of days.

I have been just maintaining, not dieting since I got up here, but I'm going to see if I can stay on-plan this week. I am going to be here for so long and I just hate to go all that time not losing weight, even if I'm not gainning. It won't be easy with my folks lol, but I'm going to give it the old college try.

Hey Chickies - I have been so out of it I forgot to report that I did the Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer June 6. It was great! I am proud to say I walked half the 5k and ran the last half. I also collected over a hundred dollars in pledges. I am going to start training now for next year's and this time I will be in shape to run the 5k with the real runners.

Good Morning Ladies!

The weekend went fairly well for me. Ate well and exercised. Lost track of points though, so no worries.

Was supposed to start aerobics this morning, but I forgot my ds has his kindergarten check-up at the doctor this morning......so I have to wait until Wed. Oh well.

Jaymie--Way to Go on the 2 pounds! Great job!

Faye--Good luck at the doctors! And don't worry about the stress-eating....you'll get it back under control this week, I know it.

MsCat--Congrats and welcome to the MED teacher's club! In case you don't know about it, there's a great forum at www.bhuz.com where you can get all kinds of great info and advice for newer teachers. It's a HUGE site and forum, you could spend all day there.

This is gonna be a stressful week for me because my dad is coming to visit.....we are not exactly on the best of terms, but he wants to see the grandkids. Hopefully he won't stay long and I can get on with my life.

Morning everyone - I hope you all had a good weekend ...

I had a good weekend, I went to my Mom and Dads for Fathers Day...my Dad and I had a argument last weekend when I was there so it was a little strained to say the least, but I am glad I went...

3 points for both Saturday and Sunday - I have challenged myself ( and my Mom ) to exercise at least 3 times this week...I already know I am not going to do it everyday so I will try for 3 ...

Julie - Hope your visit with your Dad goes good...I know how that whole relationship thing can be ( as you saw above )

Beth - I LOVE C2 !!!!!! I am like you I usually dont do soda because on my WW plan it is too high of points, but the C2 is half the points for regular Coke - and you are right I could not tell the difference!! I thought it was very good and am really excited that when I do choose to have some ( which will still be not that often ) that I can have something that tastes good, I hate diet and will not drink it ...

Cathy - I ended up going out and buying new batteries, so far so good, so we will see...I thought Faye or somebody had some scales in that brand that could help me out but I guess not....

Jaymi - Congrats on the 2 pounds down, great job!!!

Morning Everyone -

I'm up early, for me that is, my sister's dogs wouldn't let me sleep. Looks like it is going to be a nasty rainny day here. My father had to go Columbia, SC to have eye surgery today. They actually have a bus that picks them up here and drives them there, about a 2 hour drive, and brings them back.

Faye - I hope the doctors visit goes well today. I know how upsetting that can be.

Jaymi - Congratulations on the 2 lbs. That's great.

Carri / Julie - Sorry to hear you're having a bit of trouble with your dads. That's something I can't imagine personally. My father is pretty much my favorite person in the whole world and he feels the same about me. Thinking back, I've certainly been upset with my mother at times, but I can't remember any real arguments with her either. Except maybe when I was a teanager lol. This too shall pass.

My mission for this week is to stay on-plan for the week. My mother is having a big party on Sunday with mounds of food and I am sure I will try some things then so until then I want to do well. I was saying before that it is difficult to stay on-plan around my folks, but that's not really ture. They don't care what I eat nor do they try to make me eat. What I should say is that it is hard for me to stay on-plan at my folks house because I have no will power around food. That would be more the truth of it. When I can't control my enviroment I lose my will power. So that will be my test this week.

I won't have access to the pc on a daily basis again until July 1st. Between now and then I will try to post when I can.

Back from the doctor. They didn't even have my MRI so it wasn't from them thank goodness. She had it faxed over and said it shows damage but to take it to my ortho dr because she can't say whether it is damage that can be repaired surgically or not. Now the good part. I don't do doctors until this happened because they always focus on my weight and not the problem I am in there for. She did blood work on me and DRUM ROLL PLEASE....

MY CHOLESTEROL IS 105 AND MY TRYGLYCERIDES ARE 40 (120 and 50 being normal). I got huge praise because I had lost 6 lbs and she said she has never seen anyone with better cholesterol and tryglycerides. It was so wonderful to have praise instead of harrassment. So now we wait until after my ortho appt on wed.

Gotta get to the pool before the rain and it gets too hot.
