Jeb's Teriyaki Sauce

  • I invented this one on the 6WBMO plan, ...I think you'll like it!

    Teriyaki Sauce

    Sauce:
    2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup water
    2 tbsp rice vinegar
    2 tbsp rice wine
    1/2 cup granulated Splenda (AND ONLY SPLENDA!)
    1 tbsp minced garlic (fresh)
    1 tbsp minced ginger (fresh)
    2 tsp Wylers No-Salt beef bouillon (to give it the brown hue)

    Thickener:
    1/2 tbsp cornstarch
    1 tbsp water

    Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Heat sauce on medium high heat and add cornstarch water mixture. Simmer until thickened.

    Here is a great baste for any lean meat bbq or for baking lean.
