    Bolgnaise Pasta and Sauce

    Dinner

    Really Simple Mild Soya Chilli

    Corn on the Cob

    Snacks

WW Oat Biscuits pack of 2 (5 syns)
SW Toffee and Pecan cereal bar (HE)
    Cheese (HE)

    Simple Soya Chilli

my kids hate anything spicy but will eat this and it is really quick and easy to make not to mention low in syns.

1 packet of Sainsburys soya mince with onions and gravy (1.5syns for whole pack)
    1 tin of baked beans
    chilli powder.

Make up the soya as directed. Add tin of baked beans. Add chilli powder to taste. Serve with rice.

This served 2 adults and 2 children in my house with a little left over and it was only 1.5 syns for the whole lot. The soya mix is also brilliant for cottage pie. You can make a whole cottage pie for 1.5 syns.
  • Thanks so much I will be trying that recipe tonight. I am desperate for new recipe ideas.
  • You are welcome. I hope you enjoy it.

I still have 8 syns to treat myself later.

Quorn really is a godsend - lmao
  • Agreed I love Quorn. I tried to turn veggie 6 years ago and couldnt do it because nowhere stocked decent supplements.
Tried again 2 years ago and am still veggie am addicted to quorn and its good for you too.
  • I was vegetarian for 14 years up until last year. I remember the first time I tried quorn, about 12 years ago. It was in burgers, they had little chunks of quorn in as well as other things. I loved it straight away especially after 2 years of soya - lol.

When on WW I used to stock up on the Chicken Tonight sauces when tey were on offer. Really easy to make a meal with one of those, some quorn and some rice. A lot of those sauces are really low fat too.
  • Does anyone know how many syns are in the quorn swedish style meatball things I'm just doing slimming world from a book and they're not in it.
