In Canada? Crave Chocolate?

  • Girls, (and men if you are out there),

I have found the low-carb chocolate of my dreams.
    Yes, that's right.

It's called Ross Candy and I bought it at the Nutty Chocolatier yesterday. A woman at work got it, and we tried it, and it's wonderful! The dark chocolate is only 1 net carb, Belgian dark chocolate and it is SOOOOO good. Now yes, yes, it's high in fat, but it's not an every day meal. I can break off one square and eat it and be totally satisfied. There's no Atkins weird frankenflavour, though they do have the sugar alcohols in them. But, I have to say, that it is absolutely one hundred percent delicious. Also, the peanut one is really good, and it has like 3.3 net carbs for the bar. But I heart the dark chocolate so I am pleased to find it. It's diabetic friendly, and dairy free, and oh so chocolatey!!!

Anyway, don't know if it's available in the states, I should look for a website...

  • What is the problem with sugar alcohols (maltitol and her sisters)? Is it that they kick off the cravings? And/or something more sinister?

I had a bar of diabetic choc the other night in bed and was up nearly all night with wobbly tummy (internal, not my usual external symptom). But it had nuts in and I am intolerant so it served me right.

Glad you found one you like Dyna.

At Easter I am having REAL choc in QUANTITY. Just for one afternoon.
