Ali - hey girls. Thanks. I think I said the same thing when I saw it for the first time. Of course he could have given my a ring out of a gumball machine and I would have said yes.. but I do love it.

Okay... SO I worked out with a personal trainer Wednesday night. I knew I needed to mix up my workout if I wanted to start losing again. She explained that I wasn't seeing results because my body had adapted to my workout. Which I knew, but was in denial. But she gave me some new stuff to try. We worked out for an hour and she really really kicked my @ss. I haven't sweat like that in over a year. I felt it big time yesterday... I was walking like I had a piece of coal in my rump. And I'm still feeling it today. Still walking a little funny. Anyway, I'm going to try the workout again tomorrow.

I want to lose 10 pounds before I go dress shopping. Or at least until I buy something. I heard they urge you to buy a size larger to be safe, and so I don't want to do that, since I WILL BE AT GOAL on my wedding day. So I don't want to pay out the wazoo for alterations.

Well, I may not make it back today... I'm leaving for a weekend scrapbooking retreat. I can't wait!

Hey Lisa Sorry but I'm crazy busy tryign to get my research together and pack for Ireland (all my clothes are here and I'm going home for the weekend) My dress is 2 sizes bigger than what I wear I'll pop back later

Keir and Lisa--Hey guys!! If there is some holiday going on today, I didn't get the memo either. Yesterday was AWESOME with all the posts, and SO fun, we should really try to do it again today, I think.

How was everyone's yesterday? I had my first POP day, so I'm really proud of myself. And I walked for a 1/2 hour on the treadmill over lunch and Firm Cardio Sculpt last night, yay me! Today should be no problem, either. I'll be walking again for 1/2 hour at lunch and then I'll be bowling tonight, even though I don't really think that counts as activity because I spend so much time sitting and socializing.

Lisa--As mean as it sounds, I'm glad to hear that your trainer kicked your @ss. Sometimes it's just what we need. You're leaving soon? I'm so jealous, but enjoy your weekend!

Kier--You're going to Ireland? You're so lucky!! Have a fabulous trip and take lots of pictures!

I'm here!! Of course I'm three hours behind most of you which is why I wasn't in earlier. I'm so happy it's Friday but I have a very busy weekend coming up. The best part about it is being able to leave early today and don't work on Monday at all!! Things were so hectic with my sister up and visiting and things that I took off the day after they leave for "me" time. I have to work my 2nd job tonight which should be a busy night - it's "fan appreciation night" for our WHL hockey team. It will be interesting to see how drunk the fans get. Then I work all day tomorrow at the high school boys basketball championship which will be boring but it's a lot of money and if I'm working, I can't be eating...I asked my mom to have veggies for dinner tomorrow night and my sisters want potato salad. We still haven't come up with a main course. My brother and his wife and 2 kids haven't been able to meet the triplets because they have RSV which is contagous (wow I can't spell) but it's very bad for babies. He's going to see them tomorrow as long as he wears a mask. So no WI tomorrow, I'll have to fast track next week to make sure I stay down. I set myself a goal to be in my "skinny jeans" by the end of April. We shall see how that goes.
Lisa - Sounds like you had a great workout. You'll see results for sure!
Kier - don't you think there should be a rule that wedding dresses fit "big"? That way, you could wear a size smaller than you normally wear and tell everyone that you were a size "whatever" on your wedding day. It doesn't really matter though because everyone looks great on their wedding day.
Jess - YAY for POP!! Now keep it up! and I say bowling counts as some sort of exercise. It's not sitting and watching TV!!

Hi girls! I am here ! Lisa-CONGRATULATIONS!!! The ring is beautiful! And congrats on the trainer...KT the triplets are adorable-so cute

So I have a sort of confession-I have decided to mix things up a little bit WWer wise and try to do Body for Life-I am mailnly using it as a guide to get more protein into my diet and for the weight training aspects since I can't afford a trainer right now. Points wise it works out to about 25 points per day. But a lot more protein-the cookbook is excellent....I'll let you guys know how it goes-but I am a weight watcher at heart and plan to do this for the 12 weeks and then count points again-I think It will be the jumpstart I need in terms of working out and cutting down carbs-I can't go low carb b/c I am breastfeeding...the BFL and WW have a lot of similar principles though...

So far I am day two and doing really well..I am also trying to train for a half marathon in july....so I am putting runs into my workout schedule-it is alot...

Hi girls - I have been lurking today, am a bit out of sorts. A fellow at work died last nght. He was 65 and a bit overweight. At first we all assumed it was a heart related death...now it seems he may have been shot accidentally in a drug deal gone sour. But no reports on that.

Either way, it is upsetting - I want to know what really happened though.
