New on the Beach!

  • Hi everyone I'm new, I've started the South Beach Diet last week and I've lost 8lbs already I'm soooo excited, but now I'm having trouble sticking to it for the last week of Phase 1. If I can make it through this week I'll be so proud of myself. Did anyone go through this? Looking forward to your support!

    Welcome, it sounds as if your doing fantastic already. Stay strong and don't cave in after such a great start!
    I'm new here as well, just start yesterday. With me it is such a mind controll issue. Keep a healthy mindset and you should do fine. It's so hard I know but you can do it! A few more days and you'll move on to the next phase.

  • Welcome Chicky. Yes, hang in there! Remember you can have some carbs on Phase I - roasted chick peas or other legumes will be helpful. Try a recipe from the recipe section.

    Hi everyone! I'm also new. I live in NYC and I'm 23 years old. I started the South Beach Diet the beginning of this week, so I've been on it for five days now. When did everyone else start to see weight loss in Phase 1? I haven't loss anything yet. I do like the diet though. I'm never hungry and the recipies are easy to follow, but when will I start seeing results? Thanks and congrats to everyone who has loss weight so far!!!
