Sluggishness

  • I just started on the SBD on Monday and already today I am feeling sluggish and tired. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  • This is common as your body detoxes and gets accustomed to lower carbs. Hang in there. It will get better. Extra potassium sometimes helps or a serving of legumes. Drink your water and get as much sleep as possible - it will pass!
  • It is my third day too and I can relate. The last 2 nights I have fallen asleep on the couch by 8:30.
  • I guess sugar is the only thing that can keep us awake, huh?
  • Now I know what I have to look forward to...!
