  • today is the one year anniversary of starting the 'program' and as of this morning I made my goal!!! The last month has been a real b-yotch as I have been plateaued for the entire time, but this morning I woke up, pee'd and stood buck neck-ed on the dreaded scale and was amazed...had to do it a few times before I could accept that I did it...surgery is scheduled for May to rid myself of the arm and gut flaps. Thanks to all the goddess~chickies for the support, I know I could not have done it without your help!
  • Ginya,

Let me be the first but definitely not the last to say WOW!!!!!

AWESOME job! You have accomplished an amazing task! 116 pounds gone is incredible.

What are you going to do to celebrate?

I'm tempted to fill up the screen with 116 dancing bananas for you, like a big Radio City chorus line!

    All the little smilies say:

    BRAVISSIMA!!!

Ginya, soak it up, and have a wonderful Goal Day!
  • Congrats Ginya! That is amazing!!!!
  • aw, I'm blushing! thanks for your help, its been a 'long strange trip indeed' but worth it. I may celebrate by going to Mongolian Grill...my favorite resturant in the world. It's a safe place for me, cuz I put the ingredients in the bowl, no suprises, and not bad food...fun and funky, I love it.
  • Ginya! Congratulations girl! You have done amazing!

    (btw - that's a wine spritzer).

  • thanks again to all my chick-friends.
and if anyone really wants to know how, it was pretty
simple...(ugh!) the diet was basically the low fat, low carbs,
no red meat, nothing canned, everything fresh, 5 meals a day
with 64 oz of H2o and excercise. I think the key is suport
and being accountable, at least for me. So I came here every day,
signed up for the weight commander software, (I loved watching that graph
go down) and put the yahoo diet draph on my home page. I
read the book "resturant confidential" and freaked myself right out
and took vitamins...mega woman vitamins and an extra B12. I
found that having fresh veggies and fruit around all the time, and only 3
hours till my next meal would help with any cravings.
I avoided all the food trigger places (spent countless hours
in the tub) there it is ...
