Food Thread

  • Ok girls! Time to fess up! What went into your mouth today?

    Breakfast: 3 slices of turkey and small piece of cheddar

    Lunch: Salad, 1/2 cup Miracle Fluff, tea

    Snack: 2 T peanut butter

    Supper: a pork chop, 1/2 cup gravy, a bunch of asparagus, and a small pastry

    Also: 3 cups of coffee and 4 bottles of water.

    Today:
    Breakfast:
    1 slice of roast beef

    Lunch:
    1C. salad w/tomato
    1 1/2C. ground beef w/scrambled eggs (mixed together) dash of soy sauce

    Dinner:
    5 chicken drumettes
    1C. salad w/tomato, boiled egg

    Snacks:
    Slice of roast beef
    pork rinds

    water intake
    70oz.

    Does that look like a lot of food?
  • Marti- Your food intake looked fine to me. When you say chicken drummet, do you mean leg? I know that sounds stupid, but different areas have different sayings.

    O.k. Here was today's food for me.

    Breakfast:
    2 slices chicken
    5 cups of coffee (I know, I know, I think it's slowing my weight loss, so I am going to start cutting back tomorrow.)

    Lunch:
    Salad
    1/2 cup of Miracle Fluff
    Tea with Splenda

    Dinner:
    2 cups of broccoli with butter spray
    1 bologna sandwich with mayo, 1/2 slice cheese, and 1/2 cup of fresh spinach (I know that sounds strange, but fresh spinach tastes much better than lettuce to me.)
    1 pastry

    Water: So far 2 bottles. I am working on the 3rd.

    I also didn't need any snacks today! Day 11 OP!!!
  • Uh oh! Gotta add a devilled egg! Slipped one in my mouth a few minutes ago outta habit. (Good thing it wasn't a donut! )
  • O.k. Marti- I'm going to bed. It's 10:30 here! I won't see y'all for a few days- going to the hills. I'll try to keep up with my food and post when I get back Saturday night or Sunday! Later.
  • Day two of reporting! Kayecee--drumette is the part of the wing that looks like a leg when it's seperated. I also had wingettes (the other half)So I guess I should just say Chicken Wings!

    Breakfast:
    3 deviled eggs
    2pcs. bacon

    Lunch:
    2C. salad w/tomato,radishes, and cheese
    2pcs. bacon
    1 deviled egg

    Dinner:
    5pcs. chicken wings (not breaded!!)
    1C. cauliflour
    1 deviled egg

    Snack: (through out the day)
    Porkrinds

    Water:
    70oz.

    Ok..... So I went crazy today with the deviled eggs!! But they're only half an egg w/goodies inside!!!
  • I didn't realize you ladies were reporting your daily eats. Good idea Kayecee & Marti. Today is not going to be a good eating day. I will watch what I eat and not over do it but running around for the most part I will end up eating out. I will start tomorrow morning posting my eats, or try to. I can't even keep up with all the posting and journaling but I will give it a good go.

    Lunch:
    7 chicken wingettes
    2 deviled eggs

    Dinner:
    1C cauliflour
    3pcs. bacon


    I will edit later the dinner since I haven't had any yet! Still hooked on those deviled eggs!!!

    Lunch:
    Teriyacki Chicken w/steamed white rice
    small rootbeer

    Dinner:
    3-4oz. steak
    2C. salad w/tomatos

    very small slice of cake w/one small spoon of ice-cream.

    Didn't have breakfast. And as you can see... I've stopped doing the atkins. The cake was good!! But I don't plan on overdoing it... my slice was so small... but it satisfied the tooth.

    water:
    50oz.---not doing to good w/that today!
