Hi I had mentioned this on another thread, but I thought I would start a new thread in case anyone wanted to see Anne Rice on "The View" tomorrow (Fri Oct 31). I hope the TV Guide is correct about which day she will appear.

Anne Rice had a Gastric Bypass in Jan 03 and she was on NBC TODAY on Wed morning and she said she has lost 95 lbs since Jan.

I read an article which said her health has greatly improved since her surgery. She is Diabetic among other things.

Sorry I forgot to add that she is also promoting her latest book, so I hope they talk about the surgery on Fri and not just her book.

On Wed morning on the TODAY show she said she was inspired by Al Roker's success.

I don't know if it is true or just a rumor, but I read on the internet that Star Jones of "The View" is also seriously considering WLS and even met with a surgeon to discuss the possibilty.

Maybe Joy Behar will talk her into trying Jenny Craig first.
