This is Julie Mom her surgery went well. She had 4 gallstones and alot of scar tissue. She is feeeling better then she thought she would.

HI sandi! It wasnt as bad as i expected, I am sore and tired but that is to be exepcted. Make sure you have a pillow or something to hold when you get up or down and cough. The worst thing i had was this morning i started to throw up and that hurt alot. Mostly now i feel suddenly 7 months pregnant from all the fluids and gas. I gained 8 lbs since surgery! But i went shopping today and i am doing well.

Surgery on Tuesday, shopping on Thursday - that's what I need to hear!!!

Were they able to do the laproscopic (sp?) method.

Yes they were able to do the lap procedure. I have 4 1 inch incisions that they cover with steri strips intead of stitches. Be prepared for alot of gas and to not be able to lay down flat. It wasnt really as bad as i thought it would be. Just make sure to take the medication they give you as soon as you can have it for the first day at least.

you are a lot braver than i am!!! i had mine out on a wednesday and was on the couch at home for a week. LOL i didnt get up for ANYTHING!!! glad to hear you're on the mend though.
