Sometimes I feel like posting my daily workouts, and I was wondering if any of the rest of you do, too! I like to hear what everyone else is doing for exercise--it motivates & inspires me oftentimes. So, feel free to add on to this if you'd like!
Here goes for today:
Sun. Oct. 12th (1st Anniversary! Yay!)
*jogged just under 2 miles, walked just over 1 mile, for a total of 3 miles! (I'm in the process of working up to jogging the 3 entire 3 miles continuously).
Hi ladies! Jen - I have been posting my exercise minutes over on the "Fat Chicks on the Beach" message board for the South Beach Diet. Every week they set a goal (a certain number of minutes) and every day chicks post their minutes. Frannymae starts the thread every day and with each new day she has sort of an inspirational tid bit of information. You might want to check out some of her daily "Boot Camp" posts. Maybe we could join them, or we could start a similar thread on 20-somethings?
On Sunday I did:
35 minutes elliptical cross trainer
25 minutes strength training
40 minute brisk walk
I usually try to do a lot of physical activity on the weekends when time isn't such an issue.
Thanks for the info, Leslie!
I do prefer to post just here on this board--for time's sake, I don't want to start checking more than one board regularly.
Today's workout:
35 min. elliptical trainer
30 min. full-body weight lifting
It felt good!
Today's exercise:
just over 2 miles running, the rest walking, for a total of 3 miles. It was HARD today! I could barely finish the running part, but by God's strength I did it. Glad it's done!
Jamie, I'm so JEALOUS of your volleyball-playing! It's the only sport I've ever played, but I only played in high school. Just played intramurals and for fun during college. I miss it--sounds fun!
No exercise today, sore from volleyball forgot about those muscles! Not feeling well, weather is changing drastically and a cold is coming on. Worked from 2-9pm after school, will get something in thursday.
power-walked 8 laps around my neighborhood, which is a distance of just over 2 1/2 miles. It felt so good, after a heavier meal at Atlanta Bread Company tonight! The air was cool & brisk, and I enjoyed my time outside. Tomorrow's a day off for me....have evening plans!
