Ruth, are those Portugese Water dogs on your avatar? I am a poodle lover myself I never liked them until my son was diagnosed with severe allergies to dogs and I found out that they were hypoallergenic - we ended up getting a poodle and I've got a huge softspot for them now

Yes, they are definitely Porties. I have Mother and Daughter, Hershey and Lucy. If you like poodles, you would love Porties!

Linda, I understand that BC is quite large but I'm about 2.5 hours south of Vancouver in Washington State. Seems like there's not too many Pacific Northwest people on these boards but it's nice to meet you.
