Bestest times at the Beach DAILY Saturday

  • Rise and Shine! GOOD morning to all my Beach Beauties

What is the best time of the day for you?
    What do you do?
    Are you alone?
    Is it everyday?
Do you look forward to it?
Is there more than one time that is the BEST?

As you know I am an early riser, but this isn't my best time.

    My BEST time is......

    4:50 A.M.!
You see I have a baby monitor next to Victoria Grace.
At about 4:45, I turn it on and WAIT.....

    For What?

You see, my mom has the base that she turns on and talks into.
Oh, BTW, mom lives next door, I eagerly await her Good morning Sweetheart to me.

I know that God has allowed her to see another day and I have the joy of hearing her voice.

It is the BEST time for me in the ENTIRE day

Life is so full of "things" that either make us happy, sad, frustrated, awe-struct or or or......

I look forward to hearing from my new Grand-Daughter, Ellen, and know that she is fine and happy.

I look forward to being here and I look forward to the little things in the day that make this day SPECIAL.

I tackle the difficult things with gusto and don't worry if I don't get everything done.

I have 1 1/2 hours before my BEST time of the day. I can't wait.

Go out and make this your BEST day this week.

    In friendship,
    Marcie
  • Oh, Grandma Marcie! How very sweet! I know one of my new favorite times of the day is checking in here in the early morning, seeing your first post of the day, and knowing you are thinking of us! Another favorite is the few short minutes I get to see my DS when I get home from work in the morning. He is usually at the bus stop at the end of our street, and he jumps up and down to see my car coming. It is just a very few minutes but very precious to me! It saddens me when I don't make it home in time for this special moment.

Greatgrandma Lucille is so lucky to have you nearby! I'll bet she keeps you on your toes, too!

Busy weekend for me. DH will be out of town at his HS reunion (30TH!) so it will just be me and my little guy, Mack. Soccer game this morning, playtime at a friend's so I can nap a bit, a promised trip to the movies, then an soccer exhibition at the HS game tonight! Good thing I got my workout (2 actually!) in last night and didn't wait for today!

I hope you all have days FULL of special moments!
  • Good Morning, Marcie!

    Favorite times of the day....Hm-m-m-m.........

Well, this is one of my favorite times. Checking in with you each

AM to get my emotional pick-me-up for the day. Your daily posts

really give me an attitude adjustment, and I so look forward to

    them.

The more "mature" I get, the more I realize that the little

things in life are the most important. Material things mean

nothing in the long run. Family, friends, and cherished times

together are top on my list. Being with my 5 and 3 year old

grandkids make my heart flutter!! I will be spending 3

whole weeks with them in Texas in October.....my favorite times!

You and your mom are so very lucky to have each other. What

a blessing! As I said in an earlier post, I lost both my parents

5 years ago, and I miss them each and every day.

Some of my favorite times of the day are checking in here to

see what all my friends are doing on the Beach.

Thanks for reminding us to count our blessings for all our

    favorite times of the day!
Have a happy day on the Beach, everyone!

  • What a lovely post to wake up to today. Your share made me miss my grandmother, when I lived with her she would sing me awake in the morning with her thick Italian Accent. I love missing her, it keeps her close to me.

My favvorite times are waking up in the morning, and my little dog who if he isn't already snuggling with me and his little face yawning, getting the slight hint of not so terrible morning breath.

I look forward to watching my puppy play at the park with his little buddies, spending time with the older wiser women who hang out there, they are funny, full of inspiration and always make me feel good.

I look forward to going away, sitting someplace beautiful, my puppy and my male companion, drinking wine and being inspired to read or write.

I look forward to closing up the house at the end of the day, my last task is to check this site and smile, and crawl into bed with my puppy and read or watch tv until we begin it again.

What a nice way to start the day, thinking about everything that we have to look forward to instead of dreading what we have to do!!!

    Thanks Marci.....love to your Mom

    Have a great day!!!
  • Hi everyone just a quick pop in to say enjoy your weekend!
