Between the first 10 lbs or the last 10 lbs- which is harder to lose? Right now, I vote for the losing the first 10 lbs since I haven't been able to manage that yet. What are your thought?
Normally the first 10 pounds are WAY easier than the last 10 pounds.
What is your eating plan?
Once you're on plan, the last 10 pounds are definitely hardest. But I think the OP is saying that just getting started is so hard to do. Finding the motivation to make the change and stick with it. Once you've committed to making a lifestyle change, the first 10 just drop off. It's keeping it going when things slow down a month or two later that is hardest for some people. Everyone has their own personal obstacles to overcome.

Easily the last 10 lbs are nearly impossible
If you're say starting at 100 lbs overweight, the first 10 is like nothing ! Once you lose the first 50, then it gets tougher and tougher to lose each pound.
