Sixmonths from now I will be wearing the beaded cream gown I bought for a motivator. I will be fighting the urge to laugh out loud as family members joining us for a cruise miss finding me in the crowd because they aren't looking for someone that small. My suitcase will be packed with clothes that not just fit great but are CUTE!
Share your 6 months from now dream!

I have a beach wedding to attend - I’d love to wear sleeveless and look sleek and look well pulled together as does the outfit photo I have in mindseye for the event - long and lean. As my journey has been a slow one I hope this is doable. In the end I just want to be a healthier me, who’s body doesn’t hurt. Heck pre wedding I’d love to be able to run into the surf as I’ll be vacationing at the time and feeling younger again.

Thanks for reminding me to keep these type of thoughts in the forefront!

6 months from now I will return to weeks and months without experiencing heartburn, and wear two really cute spring/summer dresses that are hanging in my closet. They fit just fine and are not uncomfortable, but with my gut I look in them.

Six months from now I will have earned my 50 pound loss reward and will spend the weekend in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with my husband, son, and his girlfriend--and possibly even my daughter as well.

I will be at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. Rocking my new look !

Six months from today:

July 5 - I will be at goal - loving my favorite time of year - SUMMER! I will be able to wear all those dresses that are now tucked away in storage boxes - they haven't seen the light of day or felt the summer sun since 2013.

I am going to greet them all with the biggest smile on my face and wear them in comfort and ecstasy, hopefully on a cruise or at a resort!

6 months from now I'll be at the pool in my cute suits feeling good. I'll be swimming everyday to keep up my activity level in a low-impact way. I will be sunbathing without a towel draped over my midsection. I'll be continuing my weight loss journey as I suspect I'll be asked to stand up for my brother's wedding in Spring 2019- so I'll be working to keep losing or maintain so that I don't have to alter my bridesmaid dress.

Six months from now I will be running 4 miles at a time and flirting with the idea of training for a 10K. I will have started my new job and be confident and calm and not thinking about my size. I will be in onederland. My A1c will be normal and I will be off my bp meds. I will be as happy then as I am now. I will go swimming with my kids.

6 months from now we will be in the months where we are at the pool or beach every weekend because of the heat. I'll be able to pull out my cute swimsuits that I haven't been able to wear in the last few years. OR I may even be able to buy some new ones because everything I have is too loose. I wont have a cover up on or towel wrapped around me when I'm not in the water.

Want to piggyback on Wannabehealthy's excellent and insightful comment. I'm 49, not retired but I have lost both my parents, watched friends be taken much too early by cancer, have a handful of friends who have lost their husbands and watched others struggle with chronic illness. I've lived enough life to absolutely be grateful for each sunrise and sunset. Thanks for reminding us all, Wannabehealthy!
