    HERE COMES THE SUN Challenge

This 10 week challenge will bring us to the second week of May, which by then the sun should really be showing some face again to those who live in the more Northern Hemisphere. For me... This is Prime Summer Sun for Scotland, as by the end of June the rain usually comes back again.

The rules for this challenge are the same as before:

    1) Please Enter your starting weight come the 6th March.
    2) Each week enter your updated weight.
    3) If you are on holiday or have not weighed in for any specific reason, please put a note in the cell and I will see it
    4) If you have not entered a note, and have not weighed in for 3 weeks, your information will be removed.
    5) Please comment on the thread about your progress, your ups and downs and lets motivate each other to a healthier life.

    6) Please do not edit the cells.

The Link for the Google doc is here...........

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

You can also Enter measurements in the second tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet for anyone who would like to keep track and notice any changes from the beginning to the end.

    Now lets Motivate....

  • Hi there - unfortunately I can't write on the Google doc - what am I doing wrong?? Not even started and already gaining
  • Arrrhhhh I am soo sorry, I must not of changed it so that others can edit. I suppose that's what you get when you make it late at night while hungry

I have changed the Link now, let me know how it goes.
  • hi count me in again = last time helped me keep updating here and posting was very helpful and thank you
  • I lost 2.75 inches in the last challenge Hopefully my weight drops a little quicker this time with less distractions, which hopefully will lead to some better inch loss.

Currently my tummy measures at 50" which is slightly bigger than my bust, so this challenge will be to work on making that tighter. Would really like to see a 2" loss there, I am OK with the progress of my hips (don't have any), butt (don't have one) thighs, are slow movers anyway, arms too.

    Currently sitting at:
    49"
    43"
    50"
    46"
    From top to bottom.

Would love to see a 48/41/48/ going on by May. So here comes the toning......
  • It works
now i have to work too
  • Okay I am in I put 288 but I hope I can get to 285 or lower.
  • Woohoooo I hope this challenge see's big results for everyone. Was able to start at 272, really wanting to see 258 or there abouts by May
  • not doing so great this week hoping to balance it out before weighing in on Monday
  • Karencat I hear ya! similar here... just been a little over calories the last few days which has affected my loss, I have then been mindless snacking yesterday and today which is pushing me over again. Tomorrow I need to get up and go to the gym to work out, just suck it up and get busy. I hope that I can fix this over the next few days
  • I'm in! Starting at 222. Focus is more on exercise and sleep goals than weight. 8hours a night and movement most days.
  • weight updated managed to claw it back on weekend = have lost 2 pounds this week! better then I thought it was going to be ... ie 0 or gaining!
  • Welcome everyone who has jumped on board!!

This morning I weighed back in at my Lowest at 272 on the dot. My weigh in is on Wednesday, so lets hope I can lose a lb by then. So my plan is to be on track with my food, going to the gym today, then needing to go to the post office at some point, I also have an appointment with my surgeon to maybe get more cortisone, then I need to go to the city as I am planning to go back to drumming for the summer. So busy busy day!!

Tomorrow will be gym as well, maybe even a walk.

Lets hope I can get 3500 calories burned.
  • Stayed up until 4 a.m. to finish work due today. I am hoping to spread the work out during the week and get my 8 hours every night!. Do I have to do anything to "save" my number after I enter it?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for starting this Scotsgal.
In the past I have felt like these challenges were a jinx. This time I feel like it is motivating me to be accountable to myself and my goals.
    Hoping everyone meets their goal.
