Happy Tuesday! Another summery day after a cool one yesterday. I did get the Mill banking done but forgot to get the money for the school fair prizes. That's on today's schedule along with some odds and sods of shopping that will mean a trip to town. (I avoided it because of the school supplies shoppers last week.) I did make and freeze a yummy fresh tomato sauce using cherry tomatoes, green onions and garlic and basil picked just behind the barn. Nice to have some produce after this hot dry summer. The mega-storm did take down a pair of trees on the edge of my land and also opened up two of Jazz's escape routes - two farm gates that are now wired back in place.
Beth, I may buy a hummingbird feeder when I shop today. I have not seen a hummer all summer, and that's probably why. Duh! I absolutely love grilled burgers but never bother doing one for me.
Debbie, I too am amazed and the distance those little feathered jewels fly each year. There is a hummingbird migration site that I follow every spring and they seem to arrive here by Mother's Day every year.
Jennifer, congrats on the boob squish for another year. I love Mexican food too but avoid it because of the salt. What are your holiday plans?
Rose, a lake baptism is how it should be! Even the Anglicans are starting to lean that way around her. We are the Township of Rideau Lakes.
Have a delightful Tuesday and stay out of any major trouble.
