Intermittent Fasting 2016

  • Help needed!
    I am completely intrigued by the IF approach, but have a question I have not seen addressed anywhere--hoping someone here can help:

    I am on a medication that must be taken WITH FOOD at 12 hour intervals, and I take it each day at 6-7 am and 6-7 pm. That interferes with any fast pattern. SO, what would be my best food option with which to take that 6 am med? A quick digester, like an apple or even applesauce, or a more complex carb like a piece of Ezekiel toast with maybe nut butter, or a fat like coconut oil of half an avocado or nuts, or a protein, like a hard boiled egg?
  • I've just restarted the 16/8 window. I honestly don't know why I ever stopped. I honestly feel sooooo much better eating like this!
  • I see there are 2 IF threads. I lost 40 lb with IE but this year I gained back 15. So discouraged. I don't even know where to start.

    Six weeks in and I am down 7 lbs, and hoping this trend continues!

    I'm finding myself hungry every day. Maybe that's part of the deal though.
