Best Store Bought Cookies to Serve for Guests?

  • Hi Everyone,

I'm entertaining on Christmas Eve and am going to have plenty of healthy food options. But there will be kids and though I don't want to make homemade cookies (too much temptation while baking and after,) I want to serve some high quality commercial ones that they'll like. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  • The girls at work were raving about Tate's:

I know Bed, Bath and Beyond stocks them.
  • Ideal, thanks for the link. Haven't heard of those, but look good.

  • I think many of us have avoided this thread because we don't want to think of cookies but yeah I have had Tates and they are OMG good. The chocolate chip ones are thin and crisp, like the sugar got caramelized
  • Vermont, yeah, you're probably right. Thanks.
