Where does today's weight loss go?

  • Okay, so this is a silly question that deserves silly answers as I totally get it's not important in the scheme of the great journeys we're all on..... but as I've been thinking it, thought I'd ask anyway.....

    We have April challenges and we have May challenges and I'm excited to get going with my first full month back on the board and share ups and downs with everyone on different challenges.

    This morning I posted what seems to be my final weight for April on that challenge and then tomorrow I post my start weight for May. But, if I lose a lb today, where does it go?!

    I feel like the final day of the month is a challenge-less day and if I think about this too much it'll end up a cheat evening, so someone stop me ha ha
  • I always take my weight in the morning, so if I somehow managed to weigh less that evening then I would post my loss the next morning.
  • I usually make the last day of the month my "start weight" for the next month's challenge, for example...

    SW: 179.2 (4/30)
    GW: 176

    5/1: 177
    5/2: etc.

    You are overthinking. No cheat day!

    Nah I stayed very much on track and will be pleased to follow your lead and start may down on my start weight!
  • step by Step- I weigh in every 9th, 18th, and 27th. So my month goes from the 9th to the 9th. Makes it hard to fit in with challenges. So for May I'm just using my April 27th. weight. I'm only here this month because My anniversary is the 27th of May and I have a goal for that- well actually for June 9th-I'll post about it. So Yea- I'm kinda silly about all this.
