Oh dear, Linda, you really did get socked! I think it's past time for the brothers to step in. I hope power starts coming back. Shades of the 1998 Ice Storm! I'm impressed that you have stayed OP.
Got through my eye check yesterday without having to shell out for new glasses - one eye has actually improved. I was glad Barb was with me because the sun was just blinding on all the snow when we came out. She drove home. We did not pick up my wine order because Eric did not have boxes. (We put the wine into bags and boxes and I bottle it at home as I need it.) I'll scrounge a few boxes and get it next week, I guess.
Home this morning doing odds and sods and then off to Brockville for a 1:30 meeting where I receive the reins (or leashes) to take over Group Leader tasks for the therapy dog team. We have at least ten people and pets waiting to be tested and don't have a qualified tester. The current Leader IS qualified so I am taking over as Leader and she will do testing. I'm hoping this doesn't add a whole lot to my volunteer load. I am rid of my work on the Village Beautification Committee although the chairperson still keeps sending me emails!
Two sleepy dogs again this morning who look ready to spend the day on "their" chairs. Disney got down off her chair on her own again today - a great sign that the glucosamine is working.
Hmmm - I have a seafood cooking course tomorrow and am on the hook for a dessert for Delta Family Dinner. Too bad it's not a dessert course. How does Rhubarb/Strawberry Crisp sound with ice cream. Sorry! Food porn!
Time for another mug of Paul and then I'll get on with my day.
