I am new to 3FC and am also just starting on my weight loss journey. Well...I suppose that isn't entirely true. I've yo-yo'd most of my life, but I can't give up. That said, I have to openly admit here and now that I weigh 313 pounds. My first mini-goal seems realistic enough: get down into the 200s. My secondary mini-goal is much harder for me: get about 20 minutes of aerobic exercise 4 days each week. Exercise is the absolute hardest for me to stick with.
You can do it, Silver Snow, start with just a couple of minutes of whatever your exercise of choice is and work up from there!
