  • Last time I did IP was June 2-August 2 of 2012 and I lost 45lbs. Since losing the weight I kept it off one entire year, and now have slowly gained back about 15lbs of my IP weight loss.

    I decided to go back to my coach starting today and my goal is to stick to the diet for three months/50lbs because I want to be at a healthy weight to get pregnant. =)

    When I did the diet the first time I didn't have a SINGLE mess up in the two months... not even a diet soda or a splenda! When I decided to stop IP and do a low-carb diet on my own, I lost another 10 lbs. I couldn't maintain the diet without the coaching and I stopped losing weight for about 6 months. Now that I've gained a good chunk of the weight back, I'm feeling very unhealthy and discouraged- but that's why I'm going back today.

    I need some positive vibes sent my way that I can do it again this time around!

  • I am starting tomorrow... I put on some holiday junk and haven't hit my goal.. so keep the thread going and support each other
  • I went off protocol since last Wednesday and now I am having a little trouble getting back on. HELP!! Any advice or tips to get back on the straight and narrow. I think I need a little support.

    I did the same thing... ugh.. well I woke up today after 3 attempts.. dumped all the left over candy, cakes,pies and anything else that was calling my name for months.
    Drink a tall glass of hot lemon water and get back on IP. I am doing alternatives have been for 6 months ($) . Today is the day I take back my life and finish out the course. I will fight those parts in me that want to destroy my eating. NO one can do this to you but your own self. Stand tall and carry on!

  • I just re-started today as well! I lost 80lbs and then had to quickly phase off due to surgery in May 2013. We are trying to get pregnant and i wanted to go back on so i could successfully phase off. It is nice to know someone else is restarting with me. Good luck!

    I going through a very similar situation as you, ugh, really trying to get back on track, Ive gained back 20lbs since Oct! Lets do this!

  • Here I am AGAIN!!!! Haven't been on here since 11/5 and it broke my heart to have to take off two smileys because I've gained almost 10 lbs back... Tomorrow is the day!!!!!! Back on the straight and narrow!!!!

  • I'm so glad everyone is getting back into the swing of things! I'm 8 days into my restart and I went to my weigh-in last week. I was down 6.5lbs and 6 inches!

    Down another 2 lb today!

    I'm finding that this second time around is much easier because I already know some good recipes and foods I can rely on. I've been doing a lot of experimenting with the IP packets and making delicious foods! My husband is even eating them.... he's down almost 10lbs in a week (and he's not even doing IP!)
  • I got off program over Tgiving for a whole week! It was hard getting back on it. Thankfully I'm enrolled in a clinic. I failed trying it on my own. It took me a long time to admit it. Also, I have sensitivity to milk protein that causes skin probs and arthritis. But, I want to lose the weight so, I'm bearing it. Welcome back to IP glad to see it's working for you.
