  • Tonight I started feeling depressed and self-doubty about things relating to my recent break up.

    What I really wanted to do was binge on anything and everything. My sister brought home a bunch of cupcakes from work.

    Then I had a thought.... "I should go to the gym" normally I would have made an excuse like oh it's late I'll go tomorrow. (I go to a 24 hour gym.) But tonight I was like nope I'm going.

    So I went... walked for 30 min on the treadmill, used some of the strength training machines, and took advantage of the new massage chairs which were awesome. :P

    Came home and I feel loads better about what I was upset about before & I'm feeling so proud that I didn't eat and that now that I'm home I have no desire to.

    Now I'm going to treat myself to a face mask.

    Like another poster said, I'm worth it. & It's okay to be nice to myself, but being nice to myself doesn't need to mean eating a bunch of junky comfort food. It can mean doing nice things for my body instead.
