tough time staying o.p.

  • I lost 5 lb.s in the first week and gained 6 in the second. It stands to reason that if it can come off that quick it can go back on that quick. Today, I'm rededicating myself to this diet, woe, however you want to describe it. I'll be getting my cardio with my favourite cheerleader, Richard Simmons, 3 times a week and I'll be doing some weight training with Jorge Cruise on the alternating 3 days a week. This time, I'd doing it. Phase 1, no cheating, 2 weeks. Starting today.

    did first 5 exercises of Pilates for Dummies. I'm too fat to do this, tomorow, it's me and Richard Simmons.

    Breakfast today;
    3 egg omelet with onion, fresh garlic, mushrooms with 2 slices English bacon. Decaf coffee and a liter of water.
  • You can do it Nora!! I just finished week 1 and lost 5 pounds, and have been starting to crave stuff too. We'll do it together. Good for you for getting up this morning and starting over!!!! We'll all get through phase 1 and on to phase 2!!!!

    Today's my seventh day, phase 1 - weighed and didn't lose a pound . But, I know I've stayed 'true' to the SBD, so I'm sure the scale will shhow a minus soon.
    I've increased my water consumption today. I think the prob may be that I had turkey and some ham from the deli yesterday and there may have been more salt in there than I thought - actually. I didn't 'think' about the salt at all!

    My body seems happoier and I feel lighter though so - here we go starting week 2, phase 1 tomorrow!

    Nora: Good going for the cardio - I know the exercise has made a HUGE diff for me - you'll be doing those Pilates stretches in no time. I'm back at the gym tomorrow - take the weekend off.

    You Chicks are a great support group!

  • I'm having troubles staying OP too, Nora. But, I'm going to get back OP starting tomorrow. I can't afford to be taking such long binge breaks.

    I started in a group at Prevention.com July I with the July 4 th holiday I wasn't totally OP. I have stayed the same weight . I'm ready to begin again. We can do it!
