  • So for me it is.....JELLO!!

Yes!! It is what keeps me sane! No sugar added jello lets me mindlessly munch on something without adding a bunch of calories on!! I have to say that at the end of the day when my mind and body just wants "something" it has been a life saver!! Haha!!

So what keeps you sane? Food or otherwise...all thoughts welcome :-)
  • WORKING OUT!! Esp doing my Turbo Fire workouts!

Chalene Johnson is a huge part of that... keeping me motivated and 'not tired'!!

I honestly get seriously depressed (not exaggerating) when I go more than 3 days without working out... I've just been a week without working out and I have been an emotional wreck... such an addiction.. but a positive one I think.

  • I hate to say it, but smoking.
  • Getting out of the house and staying busy.
  • Seeing the number on the scale consistently drop!
  • Actually, 3 FCs keeps me sane and focused.
  • I'm not crawling the walls as I did in the past while dieting and maybe I should say that this keeps my husband sane, for me it's a nice treat: At our favorite coffee place they have a frozen vanilla coffee frappe made with skim milk and sugar free syrup that is awesome, filling and like 180 calories.
  • Running. Running keeps me sane. I run not so much for the calories burned (because I can easily eat my way through those in about 2 minutes flat) but for the endorphins, stress relief, emotional well-being, and the overall happy happy joy joy I get from it.
  • Eating a little bit of sweets or other small treats most days (a small square of chocolate, a ginger candy, piece of black licorice, or even just some sweetened yogurt) prevents deprivation feelings for me, as does eating freely every once in a while. Exercise and keeping busy with life keep the hunger down. A good attitude is the most important, though.
  • No sugar added hot cocoa (60 cal) and light yogurt (90 cal). I've got such a sweet tooth so the yogurt makes a nice dessert and I don't drink coffee so the hot cocoa is a nice hot treat first thing in the morning. Those things help keep me from buying stuff like Oreos and soda when I'm food shopping.
  • many things thankfully!
  • I second the yoga! Never realized just how tense I was until I learned how to let it go.
  • My peeps (though they can also make me insane)
    3FC
    Exercise
    Fun
    Sleep
    Down time
    Tea
Eating food I love every day
    Building a structure
but being flexible enough to go through it sometimes
  • Pistachio nuts! They're sweet and fatty enough to feel like an indulgence, and they are actually pretty caloriffic for an ounce of them. But they are also filled with minerals and nutrients (as all nuts are), and they're my little sweet treat every day.
