Weekly Food Logs - June 23

  • Good Morning.

    B. 2 eggs and 1 slice Canadian bacon
    L. beef and cabbage thingie
    D. salmon skewers, asparagus, red pepper saute
  • JUNE 23RD
    Home, flat on my back - pulled a muscle or something ....PAIN!!! (Also PMS monster is lurking as TOM is just around the corner)

    Breakfast:
    decaf w/cream (2)
    smoked salmon w/cream cheese (2)


    Lunch:
    1 small roasted chicken breasts (0)
    3 pepperoni sticks (1)
    mousse (whipping cream, splenda, cocoa) (4)

    Dinner:
    another chicken breast
    zucchini, with slice onion and 1 mushroom stir fried in butter (6)

    I know I missed my salad today - but really not in the mood?? (or maybe I am just getting tired of salads???)

  • TUESDAY, JUNE 24TH
    Still suffering from back pain, but will be hobbling in to work tomorrow, no matter what! (Have the afternoon off to do to daughter's gr 6 graduation).

    BREAKFAST:
    3 hard boiled eggs/mayo/onion (3)
    1 pepperoni stick (0)
    tea w/cream & splenda (1.5)

    LUNCH:
    1 chicken breast
    2 cups salad w/italian dressing (2.5)
    decaf w/cream (2)

    DINNER:
    8 chicken wings (1)
    sour cream/dill dip (4)
    celery (4)

    OH NO: 6 grapes!!! (5 WHOLE CARBS!)

    TOTAL: 23 carbs

    (those damn grapes )

    Wednesday, June 25th

    Breakfast:
    Mock Danish (finally tried it w/cinnamon, not bad) (3.6)
    decaf w/cream (2)


    Lunch:
    celery sticks (4)
    chopped egg salad (3)
    pepperoni stick (0)

    Dinner:

    no plans yet? probably eating out: steak or seafood.....

    Going to daughter's graduation this pm..there will be a RECEPTION, with FOOD.... . I am hoping there may be something I can eat ( a cheese tray possibly?)...otherwise I will stick to diet soda (aspartame I presume...but I'm sure it won't kill me). I'm not worried about cake and such, as my cravings for that stuff seem to be under control!!!

    P.S.: Ko - what plan are you following? How long and how are you doing?

    P.P.S. Update: had 2 cubes of cheese, 1 red pepper slice and diet coke at the graduation reception

    Dinner was at Red Lobster: broiled fisherman's platter (haddock, shrimp, lobster tail and scallops - no rice/potato....asked for veggies but it was Corn!! - did not have any)...also garden salad w/ranch dressing.....very yummy!

    Breakfast:

    Mock danish - this time banana flavor w/flax meal (4)
    decaf w/cream (2)

    Lunch:
    (not sure yet - visit to cafeteria??/)
    I will try and get tuna salad at the sandwich bar(without the bread - hope they will be accommodating) (1)
    (My other option is a cheeseburger off the grill - no bun - 1 carb)
    Some salad at the salad bar (greens and such) (4)
    italian dressing from home (1)
    more water........

    Dinner:
    Soccer night - no time to really eat??
    2 hot dogs (1.4)
    salad w/dressing (5)
    iced coffee w/splenda/cream (2.6)

    Snacks:
    1 mozzarella cheese strings (.2)

    TOTAL = 21.2 - just a bit over the limit!!!

    P.S. TOM almost over...have tried NOT to get on the scale for fear of depression over numbers....may hop on saturday or sunday for continued inspiration! Keep guzzling water to try and help things along!
