Thursday

  • Mickey,

That is great that you are spending so much time at the lake and enjoying yourself. And staying on plan. That is great. I sure hope you make kops tonight that would be great. Let us know. Sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy. That is a great thing. Keep up the great work. It will be hard to keep your kops status once you reach it again. I think it would be harder to keep it then to get it in the first place. I am not there yet and am a long ways away but I will get there to. I am proud of you for sticking with it and getting to your goal again. Way to go girl.

As for me I did great yesterday no snacks at all. The scale is back down today so that is a great thing. Been keeping so busy outside with my daughter that the laundry isn't getting done. Time to start that again today.LOL

You all have a great day and remember to put you first because you are important and loved.

  • Good Morning,

Just finished my 2 mile walk and am having my second cup of coffee while reading the posts. There was a lot of wildlife this morning. Our hospital has a health and fitness center and they have a quarter mile track around it with trees and borders the woods. So, we see hawks, squirrels, armadillas, all kinds of birds, snakes, sometimes gators. Makes it interesting to walk there.

Sherri...Glad to hear that you are doing so well and lost the gain that you had. Being active is a big help. You have done well these last two weeks. WTG.

Coco.....Congrats on the loss this week. You have lost 3 weeks in a row. HOORAY!! One more week and you will have a month without any gains. Go for it!! Most of us do eat too much after weigh-in, but if we get back on track, we can still have a loss.
My scale didn't look too good this morning, but it lies to me. Usually, I weigh a pound more at home than TOPS, but last week, I weighed a pound more at TOPS. So, I don't know what I weigh until I weigh in on Friday. I think I will go ahead and start a menu thread. I think it helped me last week.

Eleni, Wanda, good to see you posting, and good luck at weigh in tonight. Summer, Linlin, we miss you. Hope everyone is doing well.

  • SUNNY THURSDAY
    Good Morning Everyone
Hope everyone is doing ok. I am back on track today so far. And that is great. Just hope I can continue today. I am just taking it one meal at a time. Or one minute at a time. I am going to try and stay busy. I have some cleaning and different things I want to get done. So I thought that will help. Have jeans in the wash now. Gonna try and hang them out. Right now the sun is shining. But have a chance of rain and thunderstorms later today.

SHERRI Glad you have a loss. That is great. I know you can do this. That is great that you are staying busy. I think that is what I need to do. Find something that will keep me busy. I had been cross stitching and that helps. But I a little burned out with it right now. But I keep it out by my chair. So if I want I can pick it up and work on it. Have a great day.

FLGAL Thanks for starting the menu thread. I was going to start it this morn. But got a late start. But I did post on it. Not sure what else I will have to eat today. I am sure you will have a loss this week. You have been doing great. Yeah I cant believe I have lost for 3 weeks in a row. That hasnt happened in a long time. I dont think I would like to take a walk and see snakes. I dont like snakes very well. But that is wonderful that you walked 2 miles. Keep up the great job. I am proud of you. Have a wonderful day.

MICKEY Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I am sure you will be a KOPS Tonight. That will be wonderful. You can do this. We are here for you. It was great to see you post. Have a great day.

To everyone else. I am thinking of you. Hope you are staying OP. Hope everyone has a great day.
    Will check in later.
    A TOPS PAL
  • Nita,

I am with Coco. I hate snakes and mice. Scared to death of them.LOL I wouldn't want to see them walking either. Florida has a lot of them I know.
Yes keeping busy is helping me. I wanted to break down and eat tonight but I decided not to. Instead I sat and watched what I could of my amazing race show. Missed half of it because megan was fooling around and wouldn't go to sleep. Never saw who came in last and was booted out tonight.
    Had a good day busy.

    Coco,

How did you do today? Did you consider keeping track of what you do in a day or what you might like to start doing? How are you doing with the empty nest syndrome? If you keep busy it will help with the eating a lot.

Well I have to post in my journal and get to bed.
I am going to do what I have always wanted to do tomorrow. Go up in a hot air balloon. It will be teathered but at least I get to know what it is like. I am looking forward to it. Megan will go with me. It should be fun. I will let you all know how it goes.

    Have a great night.

  • I hope the icon I used is the tired one.....LOL Because I am that!

I hope everyone is doing great. It sounds like it. I am trying to get back into the swing of things and start working on my weight again. It has been one week since Andrew was born and I am trying hard to stay on track. I just wanted to check in and I am trying to have some time to myself. It is hard with three kids now...lol Here is his birth story.

Andrew Thomas was born on June 12, 2003 at 12:05pm. He weighed 6lbs 12 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He was born by repeat c section. I am glad I decided to repeat the c section b/c he was head down until the very end. When they cut me open, and there was a foot there instead of his head! But he is a beautiful and wonderful baby. So good

Thanks for being so supportive. I am going to try my hardess to keep up with the board and posts! Take care Penny

  • Penny, Congratulations on your new son. I heard that he is a beautiful baby. Perhaps you could post a picture of him sometime so that we could all see him.

Coco and Sherri....It isn't often that we see snakes, perhaps 3 times in all the years that we have walked. And I have a horrible fear of them too, but my walking friend doesn't. She gets up close and looks at them. I keep my distance. But we both enjoy the long legged birds, standing in the ponds and the squirrels chasing each other and all the other wildlife that we have seen.

Wendy...How are you doing? congrats on you loss at weigh-in this week.

    Have a good night everyone.
