June Exercise Challenge

  • It's the first of the month again, where does the time go? We are starting up the challenge for the month of June. Please calculate the number of minutes that you will exercise for the entire month and post them here. Then each day that you exercise subtract that amount and show the remaining minutes. I sort of dropped the ball last month, I let a lot of other things come first, but am ready for a new month. I'm making a pledge of 30 min for five days a week for a total of 600 minutes, I have to allow time for yard work and all the extra time out doors in the summer months.

    So 'come on and join in.

    I did pretty well last month so I think i'll be kicking up things a notch this month. I pledge 1500mins for this month!

  • Semo, here some tough-love butt kicking for ya! lol What's up w/ SI6? Are you still too busy at work to focus on it? If you can do it 6x a week, do it when you can. Something is better than nothing? What do you think? I love, love the Slim Series.

  • Well, I dropped the ball a little last month with vacations and training days, so I'm going to stick with my same plan as last months 1500.

    LADEANS REPORT ON EXERCISE......
    AM.... 1000-60=940 ( 4 MILE WALK)
  • I've decided to walk 100 miles in June. I walk 3.5 miles each time I go so 30 x 3.5 would be 105 (giving myself a little leeway). But now I have to do some math ..... hmmm ..... each day is about 64 minutes ..... 1920 minutes!!!! I thought 100 miles looked daunting! But I guess ..... 128 done, 1792 to go.
  • Well, today was a good workout, not as long as I go when I have the PT but as long as I can get a good hour in on the days I'm not with him, I'm happy!

    I was reluctant to go walking because of a horrendous day shift but ... I went and quite enjoyed it. I always feel better once I get out there.
  • I worked out with the PT today and they are always very rough sessions. I keep telling him I'm too big to be worked out this hard but he doesn't here well.

  • Hi Ya'll, finally got my lazy butt going and did 30 min on the orbitreck. Okay, now I'm committed. Errrrrrr to exercise I mean (know what ya'll were thinking!)

  • OK, I couldn't wrestle the computer away from the kids last night so here's two days in one.
    1732-130=1602 to go.
  • I was bored this evening so another 40 mins.
    1602-40=1562 to go.
  • I had a good workout this morning with the PT. My days with him are always great!
