New here :-)

  • Hi everyone :-)

My name is Belinda and I am 34 years old, and 114 kilos. Not sure what that is in pounds, as we are on the ol metric system here in Australia lol.

I used to be really thin, but years of being on and off antidepressants, as well as having two kids, and bad food choices and lack of exercise, well, you get the picture.

I have tried numerous times to lose weight. I always end up losing motivation and have never really lost much, just gained. Very depressing!

I am aiming for 1500 calories a day, and atleased half an hour treadmill to start me off.

Look forward to chatting to all of you :-)

Are you Australian or transparent Indian.
  • Good luck! You will find great support here. There are lots of people to chat with!
  • Hi Belinda,
You came to the right place to look for support
You are saying you used to be slim and that gives you an advantage. You dont have more fat cells than others they just grown in size. Should be easier to shed the pounds. I used to be a fat child (apparently its when the fat cells actually multiply so they say its harder to maintain weight).
Anyway, goodluck with losing weight! We are all in the same boat!!
