Hi! I'm a 55-year old mother of two terrific kids: a daughter (32) and a son (31). I was divorced when they were babies and have raised them on my own. My daughter is getting married in July 2014. I recently asked her who she wanted to walk her down the aisle, thinking she would say her brother. I was so incredibly happy and so very proud when she said, "Why you, Momma. You've been both my Mom and Dad all my life, and you're the one I want beside me".
Now I have to lose some weight! I'm hoping to find a bit of extra motivation and perhaps a few tips by joining this forum, and I look forward to getting to know everyone.
