  • This is getting exciting. I am 15lbs away from my next mini-goal of 225lbs.

So far I have been setting my mini-goals as 2 stone reductions (28lbs).

But what should I set as the one after that?

Too many choices. So I'll let you decide.

    Please vote!
  • One-derland all the way!
  • I picked onederland too! I am going to party my butt off the day I hit onederland, hopefully all the dancing will take me to 198. The party won't start til I stop crying though, it's an incredible achievement for all of us.

BTW Ian, I love all your threads even if I don't comment on them. You have a great sense of humor and crack me up. And...you are so rocking this weightloss thing, congrats!
  • Definitely onederland. That's a huge goal around here, might as well celebrate it!
  • Yup - I agree with onderland. Looking at that scale and seeing a 1 for the first digit will be awesome.
  • I say go for one-derland. It seems to be a rite of passage here, so might as well make it a thing.
  • Well, I think we have a winner. By complete consensus my next mini-goal after I hit 225lbs (hopefully in a week or two) will be ONE-DERLAND!

Thanks for voting and keep watching my ticker!
  • The road to onederland sux, just as a warning.

I feel like I got to the gate and got the hand in the face to stop.

I'm still angry about it today in case you can't tell!!
  • I am the odd one out; "no longer obese" Why stop at onerland when you can have such a huge step from being obese to mere overweight at your hands!!??

My weighloss journey started when I hit obese category. It was an eye opener for me. I had lied to myself that "I am not that big"... once the BMI registered obese, I stopped kidding myself. -- That is why I voted for no longer obese, it is close to my heart
  • That's true, sum38, but he can meet that goal probably the same week so he can have a double celebration!! Like Ian needs a reason to have another beer, right?
  • Elvis!! Ian needs a celebratory beer!!
  • Thanks guys. Beer is part of my diet and a tool I use for it. So, yes, I will have a celebratory beer on both occassions.

I will also have a beer when there is nothing to celebrate.

Some people do Medifast, some do yoga, some do cardio, some watch their calories.

I drink beer (and do IF and eat portion-controlled salads).

I didn't mean any harm, I promise!! I'm jealous you have beer in your diet, I'd give my right arm for one right now!! But I'm so much better without it. I have no control around certain foods and alcohol is part of those foods.
  • Thanks Elvis and it is not for everyone.

    Beer is special like that

Plus, it means more for me!
  • I really dislike beer (plus I have celiac disease), but if I could incorporate wine into my diet....
